It's a slow week for television, which means that I've finally started catching up on Season Four of Fringe. I was marveling during the earlier episodes about just how much I missed Joshua Jackson (who SPOILER had temporarily been erased from existence). I like the hell out of Anna Torv, and John Noble is an amazing actor, but Joshua Jackson really does give the show both its sly sense of humor and its heart. Anyway, that thought led to some nostalgia for Dawson's Creek, which led to a inappropriate daydream about Busy Phillips, which reminded me of Seth Rogen's cameo on Dawson's Creek, which prompted this quickie list for the dead day after the Fourth of July.
Here's 9 Actors Who Were On Dawson's Creek Before You Knew Who They Were, otherwise known as "An Excuse to Post a Picture of Sarah Shahi's Tongue."
Jennifer Morisson
Ali Larter (the year before Varsity Blues)
Sarah Shahi
Seth Rogen (to be fair, with was after "Freaks and Geeks," but no one saw "Freaks and Geeks" during its original run)

Scott Foley

Michael Pitt
Jane Lynch

Tony Hale

Doctor told me I had a case of jensen ackles once but some ointment cleared it right up. But seriously, Ali Larter and Sarah Shahi in a pudding pit ASAP.
To be fair, I don’t know who Sarah Shahi and Jensen Ackles are _now_, either.
Not sure Jane Lynch should count – her Dawson’s Creek episode was after Best In Show came out.
But you may want to do a good ol’ GIS on Ms. Shahi and acquaint yourself with her (and by acquaint yourself, I mean look at revealing pictures and think about holding her hand and going steady).
At first, I only watched Fringe because I thought it was going to be X-Files Lite with Bonus Pacey.
And now it’s my favorite. Thank you, Pacey!
i watched Freaks and Geeks during its original run. I was the same age as Sam, Neil, and Bill at the time, so it was pretty amazing watching a show about geeky teens that was honest and i could, ya know, actually relate to. I even waited those long months when it was on hiatus and came back on saturday night, of all places.
Best. Show. Ever.
That is why NBC is in the toilet.
It’s fun to watch the Tony Hale baldness progression. Well, up until bald.
And Jensen Ackles … sounds like a child-stealing monster from a Russian fairy tale. “Children, beware of the Jensen Ackles, for he comes at night to all Russian villages and steals away children who haven’t swept the floors of their huts.” Best get sweepin’.
Pacey got all the good bitches.
Speaking of Tony Hale, he makes an appearance in The Sopranos giving Corrado Soprano his chemotherapy.
What about Oliver Hudson from Rules of Engagement? He was in the same ep as Seth, i mean who gives a rats arse about Michael Pitt or fucking Jane Lynch? Or Oliver Hudson for that matter?
I’ll never understand some of the fascinations the writers on this blog have. Busy Phillips is unattractive.
I would still lick whip cream off Ali Larter.
I believe that is what Ms Shahi is attempting in the main pic.
No mention of Busy Philips? (same category as Seth Rogan.)
I still don’t know who most of those people are.
Sarah Shahi was on Alias well before she was on the Creek. She was Will/Bradley Cooper’s secretary/special lady, who he stupidly ditched in favor of Sydney.
