It’s been a little while since we checked in with Warming Glow’s favorite man on the street, Billy Eichner. In fact, we haven’t heard from him since back in February when the geniuses at “Conan” sent him to the Super Bowl to scream pop culture questions into the chubby, mustachioed faces of American football fans. That is entirely too long.
Luckily, those same “Conan” geniuses recently sent him to Tel Aviv to cover the opening leg of Madonna’s latest world tour. While sending a very excitable gay man to the Middle East to assault people with questions about a legendarily provocative female performer who is named after the mother figure of Christianity may not be the greatest idea from a domestic relations standpoint, it sure is funny. Yes, yes it is. Once “Billy on the Street” runs its course, I hope some enterprising television executive greenlights “Billy Around the World” and dispatches him all over the globe to ask people questions about Kelly Clarkson and Ryan Seacrest. I would watch that all damn day.

I’m going to scream “GAY DANCERS!” at strangers on the sidewalk now.
Next thing I know, DG will be telling me Anderson Cooper is gay. Wait, what?
chicken shawarma > vogue. every time.
reading “Madonna” and “opening leg” in the same sentence made me throw up in my mouth a little.
This guy’s about as funny as two ambulances full of burnt kids hitting each other…
I wouldn’t say he’s as funny as that.
Oh, this Billy Eichner person is doing the Stuttering John shtick but without the charm or humor.
