The Olympics (NBC) – The young woman pictured above is named McKayla Maroney. McKayla Maroney is a member of the United States women’s gymnastics team. She does exactly one event. She does this one event, the vault, better than anyone else in the world. By a lot. So while the rest of her team is doing all the other events tonight in the gymnastics team competition, McKayla Maroney will be focusing in on doing the one thing she does so well that it alone got her on the team, and when it’s time for her to do it, she will destroy everyone. McKayla Maroney is a boss. (If you want know who won, just Google it. NBC is dumb.)
Franklin & Bash (TNT) – I haven’t been doing recaps of this show because it hasn’t been nearly as silly as last season, and they take a long time, and it’s no fun to do them if I’m just going through the motions. Will I do one tomorrow? The ball’s in their court. No pressure.
White Collar/Covert Affairs (USA) – How sick do you think Piper Perabo is of hearing about Coyote Ugly? I bet she gets people yelling at her about fighting the moonlight and dancing on bars all the time. And then she’s probably all “I am on Covert Affairs now,” and people are like “WTF is a Covert Affairs? Sing that one song,” and she just screams until her lungs bleed.
Workaholics (Comedy Central) – Season 3 finale. FINALE? How is that even possible? It just came back like a month ago. No, this simply will not do.
LATE NIGHT GUESTS: Fred Willard on a repeat of Kimmel; Emma Stone on a repeat of Letterman; Rosie Perez on Ferguson; Jeff Daniels on Conan; Olympics all night on NBC, so no Leno or Fallon

They should get Mario Lopez to do a guest spot on Franklin & Bash. The ratings would double!
Oh yeah, but can she do this.

You’re not my grandpa!
Or this?
Short Workaholics seasons are not tight butthole.
McKayla can jump my vault any any day…*Wiki’s her*…er, as long as that any day is two years from now.
(BTW, you may want to avoid wikipedia if you’re trying to avoid spoilers so that you can enjoy having the winning results ruined by NBC five minutes beforethey broadcast the actual event.)
she could never beat this vault:

McKayla is a beast
I think Workaholics comes back in like January though?
I would like to remind Piper Perabo that she was in The Adventures of Rocky & Bullwinkle movie and the fact that she still gets work amazes me.
that might be her best work. Seriously she’s the worst. Like 2/10 – do not want because her acting is so bad.
BOSS indeed.

It’s been said before, but that vault McKayla did last night was BAD ASS! How that is not a 10, I will never know.
/judged sports are the absolute worst.
Who cares about Coyote Ugly? If I ran into Piper, I’d ask her about getting freaky with Mrs. Don Draper.
Mckayla is a boss! The whole team is at the boss-status level. Speaking of bosses, the season finale of Workaholics snuck up on me too! Those guys are the most hilarious people on TV right now. It makes me wish everyday that they were my desk mates at Dish. I don’t know what I’m going to do for my daily dose comedy now. At least I still have a stash of older episodes tucked away on my DVR to keep me going. I have the Hopper DVR that has a memory space as big as Blake’s hair, so I even have room to store episodes from seasons one and two. I could watch the one where they make their own beef jerky a million times and still laugh hysterically!
that workaholics finale was easily the funniest episode to date. i just sat there thinking why the fuck didn’t they make this show and not the one they do now. obv because it’s been done before and the ‘what happens AFTER college’ thing is more original/fresher, but damn, that would have been a hell of a show.
