Zach Galifianakis and Will Ferrell — last seen squaring off with Jons Stewart and Hamm — are in the middle of a country-wide press junket for their upcoming movie, The Campaign, and to no one’s surprise, they’re restless. Answering the same dumb questions after same dumb questions from smelly reporters must be nauseatingly boring, and this is coming from someone smelly who’s asked the same dumb questions after same dumb questions to famous people before. (“Tell me about your craft, Crappy Actor from Samantha Who?“)
During an interview with VH1′s Sabrina Rojas Weiss, they decided to mess around with her and make the chat not so much about the film, but about “sugar-free black currants” that are like “miniature sanitary cakes for a tiny toilet” and the Dubai Brothers. Love their song, “Jesus Is Just Alright, As Long As He’s Not Jewish.”

I bet those junkets have to be equally awful for all involved. The actors have to pretend they’re interested in the questions being asked 100 times over, and the reporters know this and have to try and get something fun out of the interview. Still better than working at UPS though, cause they suck.
radiohead had a great documentary back in the day, meeting people is easy, i think, that shows how horrible that situation is.
I adore that movie. It is terribly depressing and makes being a rock star look HORRIBLE.
This is what drives celebrities to take dangerous amounts of drugs and alcohol! This is how we lost Chris Farley you fucks! Stop it VH1, stop it right now!
I am in the UK. So it don’t let me see funny. Upsetting.
Breezy, you aren’t missing much. This film looks like crap.
I can imagine those junkets get pretty dull. The Stewart/Hamm bit wasn’t even that great. However I can totally see both of these guys being like-minded in a “Hey, let’s just start messing with everyone” mood. It also makes me think we’ve seen all the good parts in the trailer and they don’t care at all.
I have no idea how that works legally, but I don’t know how they missed the joke having Jon Ham on the TP rolls in their trailers during shooting the movie.
