Earlier today, BBC released a new trailer for the seventh (and final, for two members of the cast) season of Doctor Who, which is set to premiere later in the summer. I know Doctor Who doesn’t have the biggest following on Warming Glow, but the trailer features two things that might convince you to give the show a shot:
1. Dinosaurs on a space ship!!!!! (Future indie rock band name?)

2. Um, Karen Gillan.

Also, thousands of Daleks, horses, the ever-charming Matt Smith, Sherlock star Rupert Graves, and a trip to New York City, where a certain famous landmark might be transformed into a Weeping Angel, one of TV’s all-time great creatures. Yeah, I want this now. More Sherlock, too — Steven Moffat can sleep when he’s dead.

Doctor Who is a curious show. It’s event television in GB and every new episode is eagerly anticipated but very few episodes bear repeat viewing, although I’d gladly rewatch anything with Karen Gillan in. Goddamn, she is gorgeous. The Western scene in the trailer looked more like something from a Red Dwarf episode.
I’m trying to catch up. But apparently, this show has been on for, literally (I think), FOREVER. So, no spoilers. I guess that’s what I’m trying to say. No spoilers.
So it turns out Doctor Foreman is not actually a human. Or called Foreman. They meant that “unearthly” part literally.
Oh, wait, you said no spoilers.
My body is ready.
You had me at Dinosaurs in Space.
Fucking YES.
Yeah this show is just fun. Moffat is a badass as well as the Doctor.
