Nick Offerman (AKA Ron Swanson on Parks and Recreation) returned to Conan to do a fourth installment of “Nick Offerman from Parks and Recreation Reads Tweets From Young Female Celebrities.” Considering the breezy-toned tweets being poured out constantly by young starlets, I don’t think we’ll ever run out of prime material for Offerman to deliver in gruff deadpan while building something manly and mysterious in his workshop.
Conan O’Brien once again ponders just what Offerman is building in these videos, at which point Andy Richter claims he saw Offerman just hammering a board, sans nails. Pfft, whatever. Nick Offerman doesn’t need nails. When Ron Swanson wants to hammer a board, it is the very forest that is scared.
Sidenote: I also want to know what Bella Thorne’s cat thinks it’s saying when it meows. It’s probably trying to say, “Who the hell is Bella Thorne?” (Answer: Co-lead of the Disney Channel’s Shake It Up, and we are all super old.)

I must be getting old and out of touch with things because this wasn’t funny, let alone laugh out loud funny to me.
Time to go to that farm my folks sent my dog to I suppose.
I concur. It was amusing the first time, but this is at least the third time they’ve done this bit. Not funny at this point. They oughtta have him read something else, like a recipe from a Martha Stewart cookbook (or maybe Paula Deen might be more up Ron Swanson’s alley), one of those “Ways to please your man” articles from Cosmo, an excerpt from Fifty Shades of Gray, or something like that. There’s only so much you can do with a tweet. Though, it might be slightly funnier than it is now if they simply had him read the tweets without also displaying them on the screen, and maybe read the tweet before mentioning who tweeted it.
If you are not into Nick Offerman then this probably wouldn’t even seem remotely amusing.
And even if you are (I am), it’s kinda meh.
