Take a wild guess. Which channel do you think a show called My Teen Is Pregnant And So Am I is on? Were this 1994, the answer would be Fox, but because it’s 2012, there’s only place for trash that makes you hate babies and America, in that order: TLC. I had never heard of the show — which premiered last night and is about, well, I think you’re smart enough to figure that out, unless you were on Teen Is Pregnant — until it began trending on Twitter. Turns out, most people hadn’t, either. Here are some of the most confused tweets.

Ugh, TLC, you are the worst.
Except for My Big Fat Gypsy Wedding, which is amazing.
Thank God that guy pointed out that he was fully clothed, because I assumed they were all nude.
I only watch TLC nude
I don’t know what gave me more of a headache, discovering that this show exists or trying to read half of those tweets.
+1
Would this even be considered “language” or just words thrown at the wall and hopefully spell out something?
Amen to that.
I dunno, @busybody makes some intriguing points.
So the show is dumber than the tweets and the tweets are dumber than those not in the know and the rabbit hole gets deeper. Or is it a tilt-a-whirl speeding up? I do love me the county fair.
This is just another example on a cash cow idea on a dying, desperate channel. Personally after seeing “Big Ang” on Vh1 I thought it couldn’t get any worse. But then this and the inevidable train wreck that is, “Here Comes Honey Boo Boo” show easily take the cake…
You know how if you’re stranded in a desert, starving and dying of thirst, and suicide starts to look pretty good? Same thing with TLC and eugenics/forced sterilization.
TLC huh? I woulda put even money that it was MTV or VH1.
A mom/daughter prego tag team? Sign me up for that threesome. Good times.
You’re guaranteed that they’re go-ers.
You mean fivesome, right?
“TLC” stands for “The Learning Channel.” That will never, ever stop being funny to me.
This and Breaking Bad both exist in the same medium. I can’t help but feel slightly elitist as I ponder that.
