'Arrested Development' Adds Isla Fisher and Terry Crews, And Brings Back Jeff Garlin

Ohboyohboyohboyohboy. This Arrested Development thing is really happening, isn’t it? Like, they’re going to write it and shoot it on cameras and edit it and everything. It sure looks like it, because not only have they brought back all the main cast and leaked out a bunch of tantalizing information, but now they’re also announcing more guest stars, too. Ohboyohboyohboy.

The “Arrested Development” gang has been hard at work recruiting fan favorites to appear on the revived series when it is released on Netflix in 2013, but they’ve also reached out for some new faces too. Zap2it has confirmed that both Isla Fisher and Terry Crews will appear in Season 4.

Both Fisher and Crews have already started shooting their guest roles in the upcoming fourth season, Zap2it can exclusively reveal. There’s no word on who they’re playing, but both will have run-ins with the Bluths when the dysfunctional family heads to Netflix in the spring. [Zap2It]

B-b-b-but wait, there’s more:

As Arrested Development is busy filming the fourth season of its Netflix-exclusive fourth season, past cast members have started to announce their returns. Everyone from Liza Minelli, Mae Whitman, Judy Greer, Henry Winkler, even the Stair Car, have all recently announced they are coming back. Now Jeff Garlin has announced to Paste that he will be returning for the fourth season.

“I can’t give you any details, but I can tell you I have been filming,” Garlin told Paste in an interview.

“I don’t even know if I’ll make the final cut. I’ve got a few more days of filming. Am I filming? That’s the only true thing I can say. Now am I in it? I don’t know if I’ll end up being in it, they might cut everything with me. But I am filming some episodes.” [Paste Magazine]

Two notes in closing:

1) I only put pictures of Isla Fisher and Terry Crews in the banner image, because Isla Fisher is very pretty and Terry Crews was in Friday After Next, which is my second favorite Friday movie. Jeff Garlin doesn’t fall into either of those categories, so he was cut for space.

2) Ohboyohboyohboy.
