Under normal circumstances, you would have to hold a gun to my head and be incredibly serious about it to get me to watch a 26 minute video about Jiu-Jitsu. I have nothing against the sport or the people who practice it, it’s just that I prefer my martial arts with a little less rolling around on a mat and a little more children/turtles/dogs fighting evil. This is a personal preference, and you will never convince me otherwise.
All that said, I am still going to post this video of Modern Family’s Ed O’Neill talking about MMA and demonstrating some moves, because it’s not every day you get to see the dude who played Al Bundy — who apparently has a brown belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu — proving to the world that he could probably still whup your ass at age 66. That seems important, and I feel I should share it with you in the interest of your safety if nothing else. You are quite welcome.
Seriously, though, it could use, like, WAY more surfing.

And suddenly the Modern Family criticism quiets down.
I heard he once dislocated 4 elbows in the city Jiu Jitsu championship
I heard he once scored 4 touchdowns in one football game.
Pfft. Whatever. I’d drop him like 3rd period French.
/wouldn’t really.
So now they have to have him choke out Manny, right?
Does Bad To The Bone start up as he enters, and he says Lets Rock?
Actually Danger, he is a black belt, dude is fucking legit. Plus I heard he once scored 4 touchdowns in a single game.
Daang, I was just about to say Ed’s a black belt (and a 20+ year student) in Gracie Jiu-Jitsu.
