This is a good week to be a Friday Night Lights alumnus. Jesse Plemons, who played Landry Clarke on FNL (and Todd on Breaking Bad), has a small, but important role as Philip Seymour Hoffman's son in The Master, and Connie Britton, the lovely Tami Taylor, not only has a new show, Nashville, debuting soon, but she's also up for an Emmy for her role in American Horror Story. We shan't discuss Saracen in The Mob Doctor...
Everyone involved with FNL deserves nothing but the best, because FNL is the best, especially Britton, who found her greatest career success in her 40s, something that's increasingly rare in TV and movies today. Consider this post a celebration of Mrs. Coach, y'all, as well as a roundup of other GIFs from throughout the week, including Boardwalk Empire and Wilfred. Clear eyes, full hearts, etc.
This turned out well for everyone involved. (Via)
