Louie (FX, 10:30 p.m.) — Season finale. Louie goes to Mexico with his relatives, including Amy Poehler, who he needs to procreate with…in real life, to make a super toddler. At the age of two months, he’d be telling dead baby jokes at an eighth-grade level.
The Big Bang Theory (CBS, 8 p.m.) — Season premiere. Imagine if this show were to inexplicably become good, if the old writers were canned and Jim Parsons was thrown into the fiery pits of Mordor *audience goes crazy for recognizable pop culture reference* That’s never going to happen, of course, but what if.
SNL/Up All Night/The Office/Parks and Recreation (NBC, 8 p.m.) — What Dustin said.
Elementary (CBS, 10 p.m.) — Series premiere. Why bother with that stuffy old British Sherlock starring that Batchcumber fellow when you watch can CBS’ CBS-y version with Sick Boy, Agent Sever, and all the Two and a Half Men promos you can handle?
Childrens Hospital/NTSF: SD: SUV:: (Cartoon Network, 12 a.m.) — Your weekly reminder to not turn off your TV after Parks. In the hours in-between, watch Karen Gillan on Conan and Vince Gilligan on Colbert (!).
LATE NIGHT GUESTS: Jimmy Fallon, Neil Young, and Lupe Fiasco on Letterman; Liam Neeson and the Gaslight Anthem on Leno; Liam Neeson and Tony Bennett on Kimmel; Anne Heche and Jennifer Carpenter on Ferguson; Sofía Vergara and Damian Lewis on Fallon; Jake Gyllenhaal and Karen Gillan on Conan; Amar’e Stoudemire on Stewart; and Vince Gilligan on Colbert.

“One-hour season finale. Louie goes to Mexico with his relatives, including Amy Poehler…” No. No no no. Nooooo. NOOOOO.
First Leno, now Poehler.
I don’t know what you meant by that comparison, but how dare you!
I still don’t know who Lupe Fiasco is, but apparently he was at the Lebanese bakery around the corner from my house yesterday.
He is a rapper who was much better in his mid-late 00s incarnation. Now he’s part of Occupy Wall Street and will hit you over the head with his ideals. See the poor Photoshop job.
Okay, I’m going to be THAT person…
You won’t see Grey’s Anatomy promos during Monk, I mean Elementary, because it’s on ABC, not CBS.
FINALE!? Jesus. Seems early.
I thought Louie went to China at some point. Have we seen footage of that yet? I don’t think we have.
Really, no one?
Now we have!
Farts & Procreation.
Guys, I fucked a penguin.
Comcast is saying it’s a 30 minute ep for Louie. Anyone else getting a one hour?
Nope, same here.
I meant, Yup, same here.
That was my bad. Was given faulty information.
Time Warner’s cable guide says Louie is 35 minutes tonight, with a re-run at 10:35. I just had my girlfriend set the DVR to record that re-run just in case it’s actually a two-parter.
So, are Neil Young and Lupe Fiasco performing together?
2 Liam Neeson appearances?
This is every episode of Big Bang Theory in 2 minutes. Ugh. Worst writing ever. [www.youtube.com]
That was brilliant. lol
The only thing missing was Penny coming and reminding the audience that they shouldn’t understand what the guys are saying because “they’re sooooooo nerdy.”
Haha, true. Maybe if I had a blonde wig I would have been Penny, too. ‘Umm, you guys are SO weird. I don’t understand any of this, but I will still always hang out with you all the time, even though you guys are SO weird.’
Last Resort looks to be a fine slice of weird and Person of Interest is on deck. Sorry to cripple the ratings for NBC’s giggle block.
Signed,
Old People and Stiff Collared Young’ns
Review from Grandpa:
Last Resort was fun and suspenseful. Submarine stuff is always fun, except at Subway. That shit is gross.
Person of Interest is awesome. It’s the only show on CBS that is good because of the writing and the directing. It’s like Nolan’s Batman with out the batsuit.
Scandal is a really good show to watch as well. A bit overwrought but still fun.
Big Band Theory…I didn’t watch it because I appreciate my not watching it. It makes me respect myself.
Can you please stop promoting those dumbass live-action shows on Adult Swim? They are a festering combination of dogshit, horseshit, pigshit and bullshit. Also they’re painfully unfunny.
Someone that doesn’t find Children’s Hospital and NTSF:SD:SUV funny is somebody I never want to meet.
Louie has a Vasectomy. He talked about it on someones show. It was of course funny.
