This is good news, for fans of Arrested Development, sidekicks, and Irishmen alike:
Appearing on Conan last night, Will Arnett slyly revealed two guest stars from the upcoming season of Arrested Development: the man to his right (Andy Richter) and the man to his left (Conan O'Brien). Arnett starts coyly, by hinting, "I don't want this to be too much of a spoiler alert, but let me put it this way: There are a few people on this stage tonight who are a part of it" before flat-out saying the people he's referring to are himself, Conan, and Andy. It's probably safe to assume that Conan and Andy will be playing themselves, but Arnett stops his spoiler alert right there. (Via)
Brief aside, but has any starring role on a Thursday night sitcom mattered less to the population as a whole than Will Arnett and Up All Night? Not only does everyone want to talk to him about Arrested Development, rightly so, but Up All Night is boring and terrible. But this isn't about how Community should be airing in its time slot; it's about even more guest stars added to AD's already impressive roster of famous people. But will your favorite recurring character and/or Mad Men actor be in the Netflix revival? Here's our helpful guide of everyone, outside of the main cast, who we know will be returning, and some that should.
Already signed on:
Barry Zuckerkorn (Henry Winkler)

Lucille Austero (Liza Minnelli)

Emmitt Richter? (Andy Richter)

New cast members:

Still unknown:
Annyong (Justin Lee)

Doctor Fishman (Ian Roberts)

Stan Sitwell (Ed Begley, Jr.)

Wayne Jarvis (John Michael Higgins)

Larry Middleman (Bob Einstein)

Gene Parmesan (Martin Mull)

We’ll have no way of knowing if Gene Parmesean is in the show until he decides to reveal himself.
should his disguise be J. Walter Weatherman to honor the man?
Holy shit, that would be amazing.
“And that’s why you don’t yell…that I’m Gene Parmesean, how ya doin’?”

At this point, I’m a little disappointed it hasn’t been announced that I’m on the show.
I could go for an Uncle Jack sighting.
“TO THE NUTS!”
“THE BRIDGE MIX, YOU FOOL, THE BRIDGE MIX!”
I thought Uncle Jack was the only misstep in the entire series.
Though that could be because I can’t stand Martin Short.
I think there were more than a few missteps- but Uncle Jack was probably the biggest.
I dunno. When he spits up on himself I bust up laughing every time.
Dragon!!!
If Arrested Development has taught me anything, it’s not to believe that J. Walter Weatherman is indeed dead.
+1.
He is lying in wait until we all need to be taught a lesson.
Also unlikely to return: White Power Bill
No Mr. F? Unfortunate.
I think the beauty of this show is that ALL the characters were funny. And just thinking about Gene Parmesan popping up out of nowhere makes me chuckle.
I wish Franklin could fight Sinbrad to the death…
STEVE HOLT???
I hope he’s an aspiring magician, you know since he loves magic and his father is a magician.
Also, I hope wife of Gob shows up to introduce Gob to their eight year old daughter, Lucille. Wife of Gob calls her Cille (pronounced “seal”).
Steve Holt looks a little different these days:

Was James Lipton left off this list, or did I just overlook him?
will arnett said on conan last night andy richter (and all of his twins) will be returning.
I don’t have high hopes for this additional season. I watched all three seasons for the first time half a year ago and then watched them all again.
They should have stopped after season two.
Season 3 wouldn’t be great standing on its own, but you have to consider what was going on at the time with Fox consistently moving them all over the schedule and the threat of cancellation hanging over their heads the entire time. Viewed within that vacuum, it can still hold it’s own.
Yes, and it was still better than most other shows even still.
stan sitwell (ed begley jr.) is confirmed by me. he was on good day la (or ktla morning, i get the two confused) a few weeks ago and he mentioned that he is currently taping arrested.
Mae Whitman’s definitely signed on! Saw her quoted somewhere saying she’s thrilled to be back even with as just a small part. She’s so great/annoying on Parenthood! (OMG just realized her character’s name on that show is Amber HOLT…) So, as far as Steve Holt goes… [www.savesteveholt.com] !
