That’s a given. I don’t care who he’s playing, or what he does, Donal Logue will be awesome because he doesn’t know how to be anything else. According to THR, the star of two brilliant-but-canceled series, Terriers and NBC’s awesome Life, is set to show up late in this season of Sons of Anarchy, joining a pretty stellar list of guest stars on this season of Kurt Sutter’s show, including Joel McHale, Ashley Tisdale, Walton Goggins, and Dave Navarro, who was announced as a guest star yesterday.
Who will they play?
Donal Logue is scheduled to play U.S. Marshal Lee Toric, joining his Terriers co-star Rockmond Dunbar, and there would be some interesting reverse symmetry if Logue’s character is called in to, say, (SPOILER) track down and arrest Dunbar’s character after he kills the people responsible for his wife’s murder (END SPOILER). Logue will be on the final three episodes of the season. Meanwhile, Dave Navarro — guitarist for Red Hot Chili Peppers and Jane’s Addiction, plus all around fame whore — will play Biz Lats, a gang member connected to Jimmy Smits’ Nero.
The addition of Logue as guest star is also in keeping with Kurt Sutter’s fondness for actors connected to his Shield co-writer, Shawn Ryan, who was the executive producer of Terriers. I love that they all play in the same sandbox.

That show was great… opnly because I have a man crush on Damian Lewis… WHERE IS THE WRITE UPS ON HOMELAND??? Also lets discuss how Claire Danes is possibly legit crazy that how she does it so well.
Also it had Adam Arkin in it who was great in Season 2 of SOA and does a pretty good job directing episodes of SOA and Justified.
NO – Life was a great show until Season 2 – when NBC tried to dumb it down for Ma and Pa Shitstain. The show had Garret Dillahunt as a Russian Mobster. Holy crap it was awesome.
Oh and back to the topic – Donal Logue is great in everything he does. How can that be? It’s the mystery that will rebuild us all if solved.
It was getting cancelled so they had to completely fuck it up to get some closure the second part of season 2 was an absolute mess
I have to say it was cool that they had the advance notice to be able to give it an ending – not that it was the most satisfying ending. Consolation prize for dudes was Gabrielle Reece in Season 2 (Hey Baby). If you are looking for someone to blame – Jay Leno. His primetime pony show ruined all NBC procedurals. I heard Damien Lewis admit a much on a podcast. Just lucky Southland landed on TNT.
I liked most of the actors in the show, just hated the show. It just felt like ‘House’ cop to me. where every episode played out exactly like an episode of house.

Anyone else remember him in Grounded for Life with Kevin Corrigan? I think i enjoyed that show way more then I was supposed to.
Kevin Corrigan needs to do more than just be the hoodlum who gets killed in every movie.

It took a while to grab me, but I eventually really enjoyed it! I think that might have been the case for many, as it seemed to have a ton of support moments after they pulled the plug on it…
