Gwyneth Paltrow, Cameron Diaz Rap About Chelsea Handler’s Sex Life, Embarrass Themselves

Maybe I don’t understand Hollywood as much as I thought I did because I assumed that if you were as famous as Cameron Diaz or Gwyneth Paltrow, you’d have a publicist. And, if I’m not mistaken, it’s a publicist’s job to prevent their clients from doing exactly the kind of embarrassing rap that “M.C. Gwyneth Paltrow and D.J. Jazzy Diaz” performed this week to promote Chelsea Handler’s talk show, which is moving to a new studio.

Oh. My. God. My skin nearly crawled off my goddamn body. That was painful. You could almost sense that Chelsea Handler was embarrassed to introduce that clip, which is notable because Chelsea Handler has no shame.

Let this be a lesson: Some actors are not meant to improvise. Let other people write the material, ladies. In fact, maybe let them perform the material, as well. Also, hire better publicists. Hip Hop music should get a restraining order against those two.
