Here is the problem.
I enjoy pictures of dogs wearing costumes as much as any reasonable, sane human being (read: a lot). They are fantastic, and they bring me a great deal of joy. Unfortunately, this site’s previous editor, Matt Ufford, loved them on a level I will never be able to reach even if I begin dedicating my life to it effective immediately and I live to be 150 years old. During his tenure he put together a total of three posts dedicated to corgis wearing costumes, including last year’s comprehensive 101 Halloween Corgis masterpiece, and, quite frankly, I can’t compete with that. I spent a fair amount of time this week looking for pictures he hadn’t already posted on the site, and it was a fool’s errand. They’re all already here. All the good ones, anyway.
So, rather than bang my head against a wall, what I have done instead is select my favorites from years past (and the few new ones I found) and compile them into one handy-dandy post for you to enjoy. But I strongly recommend that you also click the links in the previous paragraph, too. They’re the most adorable window into an obsessed mind you will ever see.
