When we heard that Christie Brinkley would be playing the on-screen wife of UPROXX BFF Jim O’Heir, we were thrilled, to say the least, and thought it to be a brilliant slice of casting by the Parks and Rec powers that be. As Dustin put it, “It’s kind of perfect, though, isn’t it? It certainly helps explain his hot daughter, Millicent.” Yes, and quite befitting a man of Jerry Gergich’s prodigious endowment as well, we might add.
This afternoon, Jim tweeted out the photo above of the two on set together. Not bad for a small town local government worker, no? Gayle could cook scrambled eggs for us any day, amirite?
Now, totally unrelated to Jim, Christie Brinkley and/or Parks and Rec, I’ve been meaning to post this fairly great bit of viral marketing for the last two days but completely forgot, so I’m sticking it here as I run out the door to the weekend awaiting me. Y’all have a good one!

Was there not an earlier episode where I seem to remember leslie trying to hide something from the rest of the crew and in a snap judgement claimed to be sleeping with Jerry, at that moment a woman claiming to be Gayle walked in and she was distinctly not Christie Brinkley? This is going to drive me nuts! If no one remembers this I guess I’m just gonna have to rewatch all the seasons, ill find it.
