If you watched SNL over the weekend, you saw New Jersey Governor Chris Christie make a cameo during the Weekend Update wearing his patented “Chris Christie *Governor*” fleece pullover. What you didn’t see, however, was Bobby Moynihan reprising his Guy Fieri impression in reaction to the New York Times giving his impossibly awful Times Square restaurant a bad review, likely because Christie’s cameo got it bumped. And this is unfortunate because the Fieri skit was pretty funny.
What is fortunate, though, is that we now have the internet where the SNL peeps can still show us the skits that didn’t make the cut into the final show, enabling us to see the skit that’s arguably funnier any of the ones that actually aired.
“The New York Times reviewing my restaurant is like Architectural Digest reviewing a college dorm,” Moynihan’s Fieri declares. “My food is best served through a cloud of weed smoke…If you come in expecting Le Cirque, then you’re a Le Jerk!”
Enjoy…

The “apples to fat dirt” line was a home run.
We’ve been trying to destroy Fieri for years, to no avail. What chance did the NY Times think it had?
That absolutely would have been the funniest thing out of that whole episode.
Agreed. Would have been the best part of the episode! Not having this in the show kept in firmly “on the chain.”
why must us Canadians suffer?!?
HotSpot Shield… pass on the good word
You had the 90s with your Alanis Morissette and your Mike Meyers. Now it’s time to pay.
Why does Seth keep calling him Guy Fietti?
I’ve heard a number of media outlets pronounce his name like that. It’s fucking annoying. What’s even worse is that his REAL name is Guy FERRY
damn you hulu, let Australia see your videos too bloody fucken!!!
“I’m at half throttle.” Holy shit that is fantastic.
“On the chain” will now be used more…
e.g. The Bears Offensive line was pretty much on the chain last night in San Francisco.
You can Le Cerq my Le dirq(sp?) . Still, amazing
