It's been months since I've been enamored with a parody Twitter account, which by internet standards might as well mean it's been decades (which, side note, is also why my online persona is so good at long-term relationships), but @SeinfeldToday has come out of nowhere in the last twenty-four hours to make me believe in the power of faking things on Twitter for the sake of comedy again.
The "Modern Seinfeld" parody concept is straightforward and I imagine -- since you're all as intelligent as you are good-looking -- you've put it together already: made-up Seinfeld episode synopses for the show set in modern times in 140 characters or less. Gold, Jerry! GOLD!
The mind behind the account has been churning out episode ideas at quite a clip and some of the internet stuff is starting to get a bit redundant so I thought I'd organize my ten "must-see" fake episodes so far here. In the world I want to live in Curb's quasi-reunion show was about George poisoning his girlfriend with gluten.

BANIA!
Okay, these are kinda brilliant.
Good lord, these are good.
The worst of those is better than any Seinfeld episode I’ve ever seen.
Of course.
someone should animate this.
I have not friend. Would you please elaborate so I can make a more informed decision?
Some of these are pretty funny, but others are mashups of old Seinfeld beats, current (well….2005-2012) memes and bits from other sitcoms.
These are absolute gold
Another good one
Elaine is caught on video laughing at 9/11 memorial. @Gawker posts it & turns her into a pariah. Kramer claims to have invented the Snuggie.
Kramer becomes immersed in the world of online vintage clothing sales. George and Jerry pitch a reality TV show at NBC.
Then Jezebel posts ten articles a day condemning the inherent sexism in attacking Elaine and calling her a bitch for something that any man could do without consequence.
I didn’t think this could be better than the Star Trek: TNG season 8 twitter. It’s close.
I would but my computer does not think that web addresses contain commas, also I cannot make my keyboard do that strange looking “C”
GOLD JERRY! GOLD!
Kramer + Kickstarter might just be the best 438 nonexisting episodes of a show ever
These could easily be episodes. To bad no one involved with Seinfeld would be interested in doing them.
The way they’re basically forcing the technology into the joke makes it feel like a current CBS sitcom. Twitter! Groupon! Apple!
George’s Netflix thinks he’s gay is the perfect George storyline.
That one is my favorite by far. I’m still laughing.
The premises of these are funnier tan 95% of todays most watched comedies.
I love Netflix
At first I thought the internet had finally discovered my friend’s site but I guess he’ll continue to toil in obscurity: [seinfelt.tumblr.com]
Your friend is hilarious. I’m passing this one along.
I wonder if this is from the same guy who does Fake Louie Episodes. Pretty similar structure it seems like.
They haven’t been active in a while, but the @SeinfeldStories Twitter account has been around for a few years now
“What’s the deal with BATH salts? Have you SEEN the people that use this stuff?”
Soup is not a meal, Bania!
I hope Larry David is the guy in charge of the Twitter account.
I want an episode that explains why they dressed Elaine like a bag lady for 10 years, or why she gets hotter with age.
