In chapter one of our “Bill Hader Loses His Sh*t During SNL Dress Rehearsal” series, Bill Hader lost his sh*t during “The Californians,” which was amusing solely because Bill Hader lost his sh*t, not because “The Californians” is funny. Today, we bring you chapter two, in which Hader AND Fred Armisen are both unable to make it through a sketch in which they play two Russian doormen who overexplain Christmas stories to the children (and whores) of building residences without breaking.
It’s nice of Hader and Armisen to prepare Bobby Moynihan for a life of foreigners screaming “DRUNK UNCLE” at him. Dana Carvey still gets “SCHWING” every time he walks through Times Square.
