Happy Endings (ABC, 9 p.m.) — Airing a first-run after the 17th of December and before the 6th of January is as good as burning off an episode. That’s pretty much what ABC thinks of Happy Endings at this point. So, enjoy the hell out of tonight’s Christmas episode because it may be the last Happy Endings Christmas episode we see.
Don’t Trust the B— in Apt. 23 (ABC, 9:30 p.m.) — Likewise.
Ink Master (Spike, 9 p.m.) — I’d never heard of this show until recently, when some people at a wedding started discussing it. For the people who receive the tattoos from aspiring tattoo artists, it’s a mixed blessing. On the one hand, FREE TATTOO! On the other, the first few rounds are probably a sh*tshow of bad tattoo designs. AND THEY’RE PERMANENT.
The Voice (NBC, 9 p.m.) — LIVE FINALE. Is the end of the world here yet?
Vegas (CBS, 10 p.m.) — It’s a close call between this and Nashville as to which fall hit viewers have gotten tired of this quickest.
LATE NIGHT LISTINGS: Hey! Paul Rudd is on Dave; Tarantino is on Leno; Kimmel has Sam Jackson and the cast of Jersey Shore; Don Johnson is on Ferguson; Tom Cruise and Judd Apatow will appear on Fallon; and Chris Pratt and Anna Torv will be on Conan.

Fingers crossed that season 4 can come to fruition due to syndication syndrome.
Meh. I wouldn’t be too concerned. Hulu is basically how most people in the key demo watch TV anyways. Though the ratings for Don’t Trust the B are godawful, whereas Happy Endings merely has bad ratings. Le sigh…
So yesterday I watched the Jets game, and today you’re telling me Happy Endings & Apt. 23 are going to be cancelled after this season? I don’t know which is worse, FML!
Apt. 23 wore out it’s welcome for me very quickly, but Happy Endings running no less than 10 seasons is a travesty
Hey, Apt. 23 has two of the hottest chicks on television and James Van Der Beek as himself is awesome.
Don’t trust the B is the best new network sitcom on right now and it isn’t even close
define “new”. because it sure as fuck ain’t better than New Girl or Ben & Kate
I…Love…Inkmasters.
If you haven’t watched then here are a few things you missed: Truly screwed up facial expressions. Tattoos where the significance is missed on the tattooer who has something face the wrong direction. The wrong number of fingers and/or toes. An american flag with 5 stars and about 7 stripes. People who think it’s okay to show you the design of the tattoo and then go ahead and embellish/add something while they’re doing it.
In short, you have to be insane to get a tattoo from about half the folks on there. And of every reality show I’ve ever watched, these judges THE MOST hypercritical… but then since it’s permanent and on your body, they should be!
There was a six-episode run of a show that aired after Ink Masters called “Tattoo Nightmares”, where three experts in tattoo cover-ups would take customers with awful tattoos and make them into something cool. That one was pretty fun too, since the reasons they got the first tattoo were usually pretty insane.
If Happy Endings gets cancelled, I will stop watching Modern Family on principal. I think if all couple dozen of us band together, we can really make a stand.
Yeah, the wife and I already stopped watching Modern Family.
modern family? is that the one with the aliens?
No, just the one alien that’s big and brown and eats cats.
“No, just the one alien that’s big and brown and eats cats.”
Dude, that’s kind of racist to talk about Manny like that.
I imagine many of us have already stopped.
That last comment was supposed to be a reply to AG. Anyway, I’ll be watching HE, Bitch, and Conan tonight.
Or maybe I’ll get caught up watching The Raid: Redemption and miss HE and Bitch. Oh well.
30Rock is already done and while it got a legit 7 year run, it is still leaving. If we lose 30Rock, Parks and Rec, Community, and Happy Endings all within the same TV season? Ugh.
One quick rip, like a band-aid. It’s not like pushing over a vending machine.
Or an ATM. I ain’t no skank!
that is one painful rip.
Then we can finally come to terms with NBC’s awfulness and laugh when it finally goes down in flames.
If that happens the only good (non-animated) comedy on TV will be Louie. Modern Family too I guess, it isn’t bad…but not on the level of the other shows listed.
The New Girl too, I guess.
And there’s still The League.
i feel like netflix needs to become the megan ellison of tv shows and rescue all the cult favorites of the internets.
attention everyone: best Happy Endings episode of the season and it’s not even over yet. incredible. i dont even know where to begin. Deshaun Andre? Penny’s pilates/bakery confession? The horse whisperer whisperer? The Jurassic Park Theme Song which is the hardest ive laughed at a sitcom since…I honesty can’t remember.
When is the kickball episode airing?!?!
They showed a clip from it in the ep where Penny gets a helmet. One of her flashbacks is to getting hit in the head with a kickball.
As far as your actual question, no idea – season 3 DVD?
Season 2, episode 22.
(goog*e it)
I’m pretty late for the Happy Ending train (eww), but finally watched it last night. Pretty f’n funny and creepy how much Damon Wayans Jr. looks, sounds, and acts like Damon Wayans Sr.
The networks seem to be forcing me not to watch them. At this point most, all of the dramas I watch are on: AMC, FX, HBO, Showtime, Cinemax, Starz (oh I do watch ‘Fringe’ on Fox). The only reason I ever tune into a network show is for a comedy. Once they cancel “Happy Endings”, “Community”, and “30 Rock” there will be no reason to watch a network show. I can’t be the only person who feels this way. ABC, CBS, Fox and NBC must be losing viewers by the boatload.
