ABC hasn't completely written off its best sitcom, "Happy Endings," yet, but it doesn't look good for the show. For the next few weeks, it's being double-pumped, along with "Don't Trust the B---- in Apt. 23" on both Sunday and Tuesday nights. That's a classic burn-off strategy, and since doing so will only leave 3 episodes of "Happy Endings" and no episodes of "Apt. 23" after the Oscars on February 24th, they won't be around in the Spring, which will make it easier for ABC to sh*tcan the series, should any mid-season replacements gain some traction.
But, I'm not going to let it go without a fight. Yes, the show -- while still hilarious -- has gotten a little full of its own sense of humor this season, but no show outside of "Community" shotguns more pop-culture references into a 22-minute episode that "Happy Endings." It's impossible to pick a favorite character -- there's a five-way tie for first, with Dave trailing at number six -- but Coupe is my favorite actress from the ensemble, if only because she's obviously channeling herself. She played the same character on "Scrubs," and over on Twitter, she has the same personality, too, plus a lot more profanity.
So, to remind you to tune in tonight and help save "Happy Endings," here are a few hot and hilarious photos of Eliza Coupe.

“NBC hasn’t completely written off its best sitcom, “Happy Endings,” yet”
Wait, when did ABC offload Happy Endings to NBC?
Oops. Force of habit.
I cannot think of anything sexier than kneeling down and having her kick me as hard as possible in the face with those amazing legs.
What is #7 from?
Google says it’s her web series “frenemies”
If anyone hasn’t seen eliza coupe, as temple grandin, auditioning for homeland, please do so now.
#12: I didn’t know she was a Rastafarian!
Those legs…..sweet mother of god, those legs…..
“Yes, the show — while still hilarious — has gotten a little full of its own sense of humor this season”
UUUUUHHHGGGG. Jesus, do you ever just enjoy something Dustin?
I agree with Dustin. They are trying way too hard this season.
I agree also – they know they’re really good. But Happy Endings smelling its own farts is still better than 99% of shows.
I would have guessed she was just south of 40 but she’s 31. Either way, <3 her.
Weird, I would’ve thought late 20s. Either way, <3 her.
Did anyone else flick through these photos whilst singing “Dream Weaver”? Nope? Just me?
Of course ABC is going to cancel it. It’s hilarious, unique – but taking up valuable time that could be devoted to another hour of “Dancing With The Stars”, The Monthly Country Music Awards Hour or whatever Lowest Common Denominator crap they’re airing. I think this is (was) the only show on ABC I watch. After 30 Rock, Fringe, and Community go off the air (Feb/Mar.), I think I’ll pretty be done with network tv. Everything else I watch is basic or pay cable. Bravo ABC, bravo.
Meh. You’re a bit harsh on Network TV. The New Girl is awesome, Ben and Kate is pretty good too, Don’t Trust the B is great (which is also going, unfortunately), Parks (ditto), Suburgatory is the shit, and Modern Family (while overrated) is still pretty good.
Don’t Trust the B and Parks are both probably going, Ben and Kate never quite hits its stride, Suburgatory has a weird father/daughter sexual thing going that I can’t get into, and Modern Family has steadily gone downhill since season 1.
The Happy Endings chicks should pose for Playboy to garner publicity. Eliza Coup already did a nude scene in a pilot of a show.
Is everyone’s problem with Dave the character himself? Because I think Zach Knighton does more with less than all the other actors on that show. Everyone else has something really unique but he’s taken the whiny straight man character (sorta like Ross on Friends or Ted on HIMYM) to some very interesting places.
Don’t really care. His character is terrible. Nothing against the actor, but God is his character ludicrous. Even on a show bizarre characters, he is the worst.
There’s just a general undercurrent running through that the other characters are uniquely interesting while he is the group’s “Dave”.
#11! O_O
I think this season has been better than last season. And also, it is easy to pick a favorite. Alex is hot and can eat a rack of ribs like it’s nothing.
any girl who enjoys rasta pubes and cunalingus gets my vote for best vagina oriented comedian.
or Colonel Engus
And she’s from NH! Represent!
Fuck the women of the league, this has been my celebrity crush since scrubs. Well…TV celebrity anyways. No way I’m turning down Penelope Cruz, Salma Hayek, or Hayden Panitierr…Panetierre…Pannit…Aw fuck it, the girl from Nashville.
