Upon re-re-re-re-rewatching the episode last night, Carol/Cheryl does a Woody Woodpecker laugh when the waste-basket was on fire.
When Lana said “since we didn’t do the former, now we’re going to do the latter”, what was she referring to? Was the former Archer’s insistence that she’s jealous and the latter that Cyril was mad about the scotch?

Well, I was late to the party, so to speak, so I haven’t seen every episode of Archer. I picked it up right after the Heart of Archness trilogy. I’ve got it set to record repeats on the off chance that FX airs old episodes for me to watch. I saw Stage Two/Placebo Effect, Jeu Monégasque and the first Heart of Archness episode as a result. For some reason, they didn’t re-air parts 2 and 3.
If you don’t have Netflix, find a friend who does or get it for one month ($8) just so you can catch up on the earlier seasons. It will be well worth it.
It’s near the top of my list when I get a job, after a $300 Blackhawks jersey and a top-of-the-line leather desk chair.

Watching Archer melt the way he did when he was with Katya made me smile. It’s the little things.
That was probably my favorite episode of all time. There was so much packed in. the opening sequence alone had more in there than most shows have in a half hour.
I loved that Cheryl and Krieger were carrying most of the comedic weight here.

As I say in most of these discussions, Krieger deserves to be on the opening credits. He’s stolen pretty much every scene he has been in. And his holographic girlfriend is the perfect punchline. The amount of material that can stem from her appears to be endless.
This was a fantastic episode, showcasing everything we would ever want from just about every character.
And the Neil de Grasse Tyson reference.
