Here's how Parks and Recreation creator Michael Schur describes the most important TV wedding since the last important TV wedding.
As for the one thing that could come between the Pawnee power couple, Schur, Adam Scott and Amy Poehler all agreed it's the folded-up pizza that recently betrayed Ben: calzone. "Leslie and Ben's bond is so strong and they're so right for each other I don't think any other man or woman could cause them to split — but the calzone issue could be a wedge that drives them apart," Schur said with a laugh. "It's the two things that Ben cares about most in the world: Leslie and pizza wrapped in pastry dough." (Via)
/writes "eat 17 calzones" on iPhone calender. The best thing about tonight's Knope-Wyatt union is how unexpectedly quick it came together. The two have been dating for awhile, but the wedding itself, bachelor/bachelorette parties excepted, wasn't really discussed until last episode, and then one week later, it's actually happening. I say the following as someone who's in the middle of wedding planning: I hate Ben and Leslie out of jealously for their spur-of-the-moment decision. But I also love them, because they're Amy Poehler and Adam Scott, and can Mouse Rat play my wedding? Please?

I want balloon likenesses.
I got diabetes from this post
@Josh – I’m 80-some days out from my wedding, and I TOTALLY AGREE. At this point, I nearly completely regret our not doing a very, very small destination wedding. It’s way more stressful than it should be.
Watching this is like drinking a fine scotch, it just makes you feel all warm inside.
It’s too bad Lil’ Sebastian isn’t alive to see this. He would have made a great flower girl or best man.
Stuff his corpse, put it on wheels, he can be the ring bearer.
Lil’ Sebastian cake topper.
I literally started tearing up seeing the proposal again. I love this show so hard.
Same here. I’m just gonna be a big ball of feels when I watch the Wedding episode.
needs more ‘smallest park’ ending scene/kiss…. but still amazing
hey, hate to do this but i made the image you used for this article, would you mind giving out the source? [fulltimeprocrastinator.tumblr.com]
It’s going to be real sad when the boom-mike guy breaks this couple up.
I can’t believe that I forgot that tonight is Ben and Leslie’s wedding! Had I known that it was tonight I never would’ve volunteered to watch my nephew so that my sister can have a date night with her husband. I even got out of my shift at DISH early so that I could watch the little guy. Thankfully, I remembered to bring my iPad with me so as soon as he goes to sleep I’ll be able to stream the wedding from my DISH Hopper. I can stream live TV and my recordings, so if my nephew falls asleep early or late, I’ll still get to watch what I’m sure will be the best episode of Parks and Recreation ever!
