HBO just released the poster for the upcoming third season of Game of Thrones, and as you can clearlHOLY SH-T FLYING DRAGONS EVERYBODY RUN FOR YOUR LIVES.
The first season’s poster showed Ned Stark on the Iron Throne. The second season had a hand grasping a crown. And now the third season has … a dragon! Correction: A flying dragon. The image gives you a sense of how big Daenerys’ children have grown since we last saw them in season two. [EW]

And speaking of Game of Thrones, the full-length, 60 second trailer for the new season debuts tonight during Jimmy Kimmel Live. I couldn’t be more amped up if you stuck the frayed end of a downed power line straight up my butt. (NOTE: Please do not do this.) March 31 is coming, people. And so are giant f-cking flying dragons. This is not a drill.

WHY ISN’T IT MARCH YET
What are everyone who has never read the books predictions for Season 3? I don’t want to spoil anything for anyone I just really like talking about the show and want to see what the nonreaders think will happen.

I fully support this idea thread.
I ask my wife and my buddies the same thing, the majority mostly want Joffery to die, followed closely by Dragons, Jon Snow slaying White Walkers and Robb just dominating the Lannisters (minus Tyrion).
Its very hard to bite my tongue and not let any spoilers out to them, but it will be much easier here.

I consider spoiling this show an act of terrorism, no worries, like Jamaal, i just enjoy talking about show and other ppls opinions and thoughts.
*When my stoner buddies start going off and asking me questions, is when it gets hard not to let some details out is what i meant.
Well as someone who read the books, I really hope we get some non-book stuff, but I also want to see as much of book 3 on screen as possible as it’s the best book in the series… therefore I’m bound to be disappointed. But they hinted that some of my favorites scenes from the book are going to be in the season, so no big deal, it’ll still be awesome!
My fellow book readers, do you also believe that GRRM had spent all off his balls by the end of ASoS? The two books after that felled more like soap operas, so many cliffhangers, so little surprise.

Yeah they have done great with the shows so far. I just hope the Winds of Winter come out before the sun explodes.
