Wait, wait, wait. THE Jonathan Bucari, who wrote something called The Sacrificial Lamb? NOPE.
Ridgefield is 20 miles southwest of Newtown, where a gunman fatally shot 20 first-graders, six educators and himself in December. WVIT-TV reports Bucari’s film company says the film focuses on a 13-year-old boy with mental illness and a fear of his parents after the shooting.
NOPE.
Bucari says he picked Ridgefield because it looks like Newtown and he didn’t want to upset Newtown residents so soon after the killings. Ridgefield schools superintendent Deborah Low says the timing is “poor.”
YUP. New society rule: news stories can’t be turned into films until after the Taiwanese animation geniuses get their hands on it. But even they, who dabble in all things inappropriate, like jailbait and Lana Del Ray, felt it unseemly to cover anything Newtown-related. So, in conclusion:

As someone who lives 15 miles south of Sandy Hook Elementary I agree wholeheartedly with Josh! Jonny Bukkake needs to rethink his priorities.

I’m from Wilton and my wife is from Ridgefield….does he honestly think anywhere in CT is far enough away from Newtown to make this idea less tacky?
