How I Met Your Mother (CBS, 8 p.m.) — No, not Tugboat, but the Captain, played by Kyle MacLachlan, who calls Ted out of the blue. Just keep Zoey away, please.
The Biggest Loser (NBC, 8 p.m.) — Mondays are the worst.
Bunheads (ABC Family, 9 p.m.) — “Michelle and Bash turn the dance studio into an evacuation center when a nearby fire threatens the town.” And the possibly of Amy Sherman-Palladino dropping a “roof is on fire” reference has been upgraded from threat to all-out crisis.
Dallas (TNT, 9 p.m.) — I’m currently in Texas, and I’ve yet to see any backstabbing. Such a let down.
Lost Girl (SyFy, 10 p.m.) — I’m always disappointed that whenever an episode descriptions reads “[CHARACTER],” in this case Bo, “has to get help from the person they trust the least,” it’s never a two-legged squirrel with chronic diarrhea that’s the untrustworthy helper. I wouldn’t trust that guy.
LATE NIGHT GUESTS: David Spade on Letterman; Kevin Bacon and Dennis Rodman on Leno; Andy Samberg on Kimmel; Jacki Weaver on Ferguson; and Artie Lange, Alison Brie (!), and Tame Impala on Fallon.

Who wants to watch Raw tonight? The Road to Wrestlemania hits the homestretch!
Can I request a “oh, no, girl on girl porn!” gif from last night’s Californication?
I love Artie, but he’s going to talk non-stop through Alison’s interview.
That’s the thing about backstabbings. You never see them coming.
Lost Girl has been playing up Kenzi plenty these days and that can’t be a bad thi… wait, where am I? Nobody watches this stuff.
Are there a lot of lesbian make out sessions? Then of course I watch. Sometimes in slow motion.

Recommend watching Inside Combat Rescue on National Geographic Channel tonight at 10PM Eastern. Powerful documentary of Air Force Rescue saving lives in Afghanistan. Mounted cameras inside the HH-60′s and on the PJ’s Helmets to get first hand look at what a recuse mission in combat is like. Very real and hard to watch at times.
The Captain is a fan favorite? Those episodes always seem like one of the more forgettable eras of the show for me.
yeah “fan favorite” seems like a stretch to me
It’s not hard to be a fan favorite when the show’s main character is an insufferable asshole.
Hey now. This season’s Biggest Loser is actually pretty good. Unlike last season’s epic gong show that nearly saw its loyal viewers completely give up on the show and never watch again.
If the Bash in that Bunheads description is Peter Bash count me the fuck IN! Bro-tastic!
Aw man, you forgot that tonight’s Adventure Time had Donald Glover in it. It was perfect.
