The Taste (ABC, 8 p.m.) — I missed the first episode, then everyone said they hated it, and the second episode got terrible ratings, and now it looks like I saved myself two hours of television. It’s the small things in life, folks. Somebody let me know if Nigella wears something revealing, would you?
The Bachelor (ABC, 9 p.m.) — You know how ABC is burning off Happy Endings two at a time on Tuesdays? Yeah, they’re not doing that tonight. But The Bachelor is on, which I’m sure makes someone happy. Wouldn’t it be a better show if it featured a pimp wooing his “escorts” each week?
New Girl (Fox, 9 p.m.) — After last week’s momentous episode, is it all downhill? At least we know Nick has a type now, and if I wants to burn through them all before he gets around to Jess, I’m OK with that.
The Joe Schmo Show (Spike, 10 p.m.) — I caught two episodes in the last week, and you know what? It’s amusing. It’s funny, but not mean-spirited, which is the way you want to go with fake reality shows.
Justified — (FX, 10 p.m.) — Patton Oswalt returns tonight, and per his Tweeter, his reunion with Alexandra Kyle is not a pleasant one.
Cougar Town (TBS, 10 p.m.) — In tonight’s episode, Jules looks into a career change, while Bobby starts flipping burgers, but Ellie keeps scaring away the customers.

The Taste wasn’t so bad. It’s definitely a guilty pleasure though. It’s like if The Voice, Master Chef, and Top Chef had a crossover with Anthony Bourdain as an awesome Simon Cowell character and Nigella being a busty British version of Paula.
Craig Ferguson’s robot skeleton sidekick Geoff Peterson really needs to do a guest spot on Bones. Make it happen Boreanaz!
I thought The Taste would be a shitfest, but I actually kind of liked it. It didn’t need two parts to select people, it just fell victim to the AI/The Voice model of dragging out auditions.
I enjoy Nigella (and her b00bs) and Bourdain, Ludo is mildly interesting, Malarkey is a total mystery to me. I’ll definitely give tonight’s a shot now that they have thier teams selected.
That Malarkey guy seems like a tremendous douchebag.
And yes, I would watch the Pimpchelor.
He also hooked up with Lake Bell in Season 1 if you want another white, skinny Brunette with nice boobs.

Holy crap. I’d never seen Jennifer Lawrence on any of the late night talk shows before. She was amazing on Conan. I am now in love with her.
So FX stuck it in and broke it off on me last night. I’ve been watching the encore airings of Justified all season long. I tune in last night and boom an encore presentation of The Americans. FUCK. I wont be back here today because I dont need any Justified spoilers.
