Seth Meyers appeared on Bravo’s Watch What Happens Live last night, and while viewers were watching what happened live (or in my case, watching what happened the night before, because I can not imagine a scenario where I would optionally watch Watch What Happens Live live), a woman named Coco called in and asked him to describe his favorite part of working with Amy Poehler. And then Coco sat in silence as Seth Meyers gave a long, sweet answer about how great and funny Amy Poehler is.
And then everyone found out that Coco was actually Poehler herself.
To recap: Amy Poehler called into a cable talk show using the name “Coco,” let a dear friend of hers blow in the breeze for 10-15 seconds while he gave her some very nice compliments, then was like (and I’m paraphrasing here), “HAHA, MADE YOU FEEL THINGS. POEHLER OUT,” all in the name of laughs. We already knew she was the best lady around, and a better person than you, but now we can confirm that Amy Poehler is, in fact, the greatest.

I guess Seth is going to get Late Night whenever Leno gets fired again. Until then he is stuck on SNL with Stefan. Meanwhile some comedian I’ve never heard of gets a talk show after Conan. And I assume Last Call with Carson Daly still exists, not that anyone can prove it one way or the other.
The show after Conan is going to be hosted by Pete Holmes. The voice of America’s sweetheart, the E-Trade baby. I’ve never heard any of his stand-up, but his podcast is very enjoyable. He seems like a pretty solid interviewer.
I enjoy Pete Holmes podcast too. He has the greatest laugh.
