Come on, AMC! Seriously? This is the best you can do? A 15-second slide show of promo photos we’ve already seen? We’re only a month now away from the two-hour season premiere of Mad Men, and this is all that Matt Weiner is giving us? Meanwhile, HBO’s Game of Thrones, which debuts a week earlier, has given us tons of images, 17 teaser trailers, a full-length trailer, an extended full-length trailer, and Khaleesi half naked in GQ magazine. These shows are competing against each other on the same damn night, and right now, Game of Thrones is kicking Mad Men’s ass in the marketing department.
In fact, what do we know about the upcoming season of Mad Men? Pretty much nothing. I mean, Jon Hamm voicing on toilet on Bob’s Burgers is the best promotion Mad Men has gotten so far. What do we learn from this promo trailer? NOTHING. The closer we get to the premiere date, and the less promotional material that is released, the more curious I am … oh, I see how that works. You’re going to make us watch the season premiere to find out what the hell is going on.

Clearly they are using ALL the money they’re milking from The Walking Dead to make this show “better”, and to promote it wisely.
Betty’s fat suit is gone! I’m so excited for Mad Men to start already, and some of my friends I work with at DISH are too. They think that we won’t see any revealing teasers or trailers until April, but I just hope that this is the best season ever. I normally work on Sunday nights so being able to watch Mad Men on my phone as it airs is going to bring life into my drab office! The only way that I’ll be able to do this is because I got a DISH Hopper that lets me watch live TV and my DVR recordings whenever I’m away from home.
