Switched at Birth (ABC Family, 8 p.m.) — Hey, maybe this Switched at Birth thing will catch on, and more shows will do entire episodes in sign language or go completely silent altogether. Looking at you, 2 Broke Girls.
Bones (Fox, 8 p.m.) — “Brennan and Booth try to decide where to take their vacation.” Yeah, sounds about right for a procedural in its eighth season.
Continuum (SyFy, 8 p.m.) — “Kiera and Carlos investigate a video game company that is the only tie between two murder-suicides.” I bet the cause of the violence was frustration due to every level of Battletoads. F*ck that game.
Alaska State Troopers (NatGeo, 9 p.m.) — I wonder if the “pot” in the “too much pot” episode description is a typo, and it’s supposed to say “too much Pol Pot.” Now THERE’S a show I’d watch — police officers in Alaska going back in time to track down and murder the Cambodian communist.
R U Faster Than a Redneck (Speed, 9 p.m.) — I dunno. They look pretty fast.
Deception (NBC, 10 p.m.) — Tonight’s episode title: “Good Luck with Your Death.” Same to you, Deception.
Breaking Bad (Sundance, 11 p.m.) — Starting tonight Sundance Channel will air every Breaking Bad episode through the first four seasons, showing two episodes every Monday night.
LATE NIGHT GUESTS: Ben Hoffman and P Diddy on Kimmel; Katheryn Winnick and Jeffrey Dean Morgan on Ferguson; Jane Lynch on Conan; Paul Rudd on Stewart; and Kirk Bloodsworth on Colbert.

i hate you mondays
Wow. There ain’t shit on tv tonight.
Anyone watch Vikings last night? I found it to be incredibly meh.
I concur with meh. I’m afraid the names are too complicated to remember. The second episode is online already
I didn’t even know Vikings existed until this morning. But apparently it’s a show about Ragnar Lothbrok with a random Skarsgaard, which means if it ever comes to Britain I will be watching the hell out of at least one episode, despite your cruel words of dismissal.
that’s OK….I already watch Two Broke Girls on mute….
…and frequently in slow-motion…
Helloooo podcasts! You’ve been stacking up thanks to good television. Tonight we shall embrace.
I wish Switched at Birth had a laugh track, so they’d have a guy at the bottom of the screen going back and forth between H and A
You’re missing out if you’re not watching “Burning Love” on E!. It was mentioned in this space last week, but it really does a solid job of tearing shows like “The Bachelor” a new one.
2 Broke Girls would almost work. I mean, you’d just need Kat Dennings to gesture emphatically at her chest, the blonde one to make a disgusted face, and the short Chinese dude to do that thing racist white kids do where they pull up the corners of their eyes to make himself look more Chinese.
Unfortunately, I don’t think there’s any sign language for “horribly intrusive and over-enthusiastic laughter”.
(I gave up halfway through the first season. For all I know it has since become far better than this. You guys would tell me if they dropped the laugh track, the casual racism, and the Kat Dennings not being naked, right?)
Best use of sign language…Olivia Wilde GQ Comedy Issue GIF. I’d watch that on circuit for days.
I wanted to like Continuum so much. Rachel Nichols is hot and has a slammin’ rack, Fringe had just ended and my sci-fi hole needed to be filled, but after 3 or 4 episodes i just couldn’t take it any more. The acting is terrible, the execution of the story itself was flat, and i didn’t know who to root for. The “terrorists” were trying to break up the corporate dictators who run the future w/ ‘Kiera’ being a cop trying to stop them, but the terrorists themselves, whose quest seems pretty noble, are out killing pretty much everyone/anyone who looked at them funny. Also, not enough Rachel Nichols cleav.
