As long as they don’t get Kathy Greenwood to come back. There are so many funny female comics who excel at improv that it shouldn’t be a problem, though.

Believe it or not the show is gaining a second (third?) life through YouTube, my teenage daughter brought clips to show me with little knowledge of the show other than it made her laugh her ass off.
Also, Colin and Brad have been on the road for years doing a stage version of the show, I’ve seen it twice and like you’d expect, it was very hit and miss.
The Richard Simmons living sceney clip is literally the funniest 6 minutes of all time. No hyperbole.

Worse things have happened to television. The reruns on daytime t.v. always amused me when hungover in college.
The British version was smart, a rotating cast and it at least “tried”….the American version was hack shit imo. Here’s the bits each guy does well, now let’s go through the motions for an adoring crowd.
Everyone thinks British TV is somehow soooo much better. I Love Monty Python, but Fawlty Towers is fucking shit.
I’m not going to go that far, I’m not a big British TV guy, the US port of the game played very “safe” in terms of performers and the bits they were called upon to do is more my point. There were games that at times failed a bit which was fun.

Great, great show. If it does come back I hope they stick to the core of the original while fixing the few problems it did have. Hopefully the rotating cast is excellent, so many famous people got their starts in improv these days.

It will air this summer on the CW. 10 episodes. Aisha Tyler takes over the hosting. In addition to Mochrie, Stiles and Brady will be back and there will be a guest each week. My guess is the guests will rotate between Proops and others
