A few years ago I participated in a focus group. It was for Dove, which at the time was contemplating launching a line of bath and beauty products for men. I think about that focus group almost always whenever I see Dove For Men products. I feel like I’m partly responsible for their existence.
With that said, everything about this Dove For Men parody ad is perfect, right down to the “#balls” hashtag. (Advertising people get big, throbbing, purple boners over hashtags.)
