This ‘90210’ Screencap Is 90s As Hell

The most 90s thing possible is probably either the movie Encino Man or the song “Mmm Mmm Mmm” by the Crash Test Dummies. Both have the luxury of audio and/or video to drive home how accurately they represent the time period, however, which leaves an important question unanswered: How would you sum up the 90s in a single still image? I propose that the above screencap might do exactly that.

The evidence:

  • It is from 90210, which is a very 90s show.
  • It features Tori Spelling, who is a very 90s person, talking to Brian Austin Green, who is also a very 90s person.
  • They are talking about Color Me Badd, which is a very 90s R&B group.
  • They are both wearing extremely loud and busy sweaters, which is a very 90s fashion decision.

Yes, this image is quite 90s. In fact, the only way it could be more 90s is if Kennedy from MTV was sitting across from them in the booth rolling up a Reality Bites poster. I think we may have a winner. If you’ve got anything you think can top it, feel free to leave it in the comments.
