Weekend Preview: It Has Come To This — A Reality Show About Fat Cops

Unbreakable (Brave, Friday 9 p.m.) — Tonight, check out M. Night Shyamalan’s last great movie and try to remember a time when he wasn’t a total douchepickle.

Charlie Rose Weekend (PBS, Friday 8:30 p.m.) — For those of y’all who like to party hard on a Friday night.

Fat Cops: Warrant Roundup (CMT, Sunday 12 a.m.) — SERIES PREMIERE. Here’s a description of the series: “Fighting crime has never been funnier. Meet the donut-eating cops who keep the peace in the small town of Trinity, Texas.” Be sure to follow it up by watching this.

Dexter (Showtime, Sunday 9 p.m.) — I didn’t love the season premiere, but when your other options are Fat Cops, the final season of Dexter starts to look pretty damn good.

Ray Donovan (Showtime, Sunday 10 p.m.) — Critics were harder on this show than I anticipated: They’re either anti-hero’d out, or they hate the Boston accents (which are actually terrible). But right about now, especially after a weaker second episode of Under the Dome, it’s looking like the best thing going right now.

True Blood (HBO, Sunday 9 p.m.) — Because it sure as hell isn’t this.

Family Tree (HBO, Sunday 10 p.m.) — SEASON FINALE. I watched the first few episodes of this, and I liked it, just not enough to continue watching. Sorry, Chris O’Dowd.
