Earlier this week, it was announced that Sons of Anarchy star Charlie Hunnam would be playing the lead role of Christian Grey in the big screen adaptation of the wildly successful Fifty Shades of Grey book series, while Dakota Johnson, daughter of Don Johnson and Melanie Griffith, would be playing his sex slave, Anastasia Steele. That led to a near-riot by the book’s hardcore fans, because so many of them wanted Matt Bomer in the lead role, but we don’t always get what we want.
In one of the stranger bits on The Soup in recent memory – I watch it regularly, and there are a lot of strange bits – Joel McHale welcomed the Insane Clown Posse, Violent J and Shaggy 2 Dope, to pretend that they were Charlie and Dakota. What happened next was… pretty funny. I’m not sure if I laughed more because McHale could barely keep it together himself or because I really want a blazer with Slim Jims on it.
Either way, I think this makes me a Juggalo now.
