Revisiting The Best Mac & Charlie Moments From ‘It’s Always Sunny In Philadelphia’

You can’t go wrong with any character pairing on It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia. Name two members of The Gang and I’ll give you a moment of near perfect comedy. But if we’re drafting favorites there’s really no way Mac and Charlie don’t go number one overall. The white trash kids just have too much chemistry. They see a free bowl of soup, they eat it. Simple as that.

As you probably guessed from the above, tomorrow night’s all-new Sunny episode, “Gun Fever Too: Still Hot,” gives us Mac and Charlie doing some of what Mac and Charlie do best. I won’t spoil anything other than to let you know they’re keeping the kids safe via the most questionable methods imaginable.

With that in mind let’s take a look back at a few other classic Mac and Charlie moments throughout the series and remind ourselves why these two will never ever quit each other.

Mac & Charlie Fake Their Own Deaths

After Mac’s dad is granted parole despite Mac and Charlie testifying against him, they decide the only solution is faking their own deaths. This leads to to car crashes, poppers, hand grenades, a gun, a wedding dress, and perfect Bon Jovi usage.

Mac’s Big Break

Mac wins a radio call-in contest and gets a chance to take a shot from center ice at a Flyers game. Mac doesn’t know how to skate, but he does know how to properly use “Jabroni.”

Mac & Charlie Discuss Charlie’s Dietary Habits

From “The Gang Hits the Road”:

Mac: I want my 35 cents back. Charlie, give him the pear.
Charlie: I can’t, I just ate it.
Mac: The whole thing?
Charlie: Yeah, it was pretty gross.
Mac: The stem and then the, and the core?!
Charlie: You didn’t tell me not to eat the stem dude!
Mac: Did you eat the stickers that are all over it?!
Charlie: Yeah, it was gross.
Mac: Of course it’s gross, it’s a sticker bro!
Charlie: I eat stickers all the time dude!
Mac: Oh my god, this whole thing is a disaster… I… I’m going back to the car…
