This Friday marks the 110th birthday of Tiffin, Ohio resident Audrey Lott. To commemorate the occasion, Toledo News Now sent out a reporter and cameraperson to cover her birthday celebration. The reporter asked her about her secret to longevity. I will now transcribe that conversation:
LOTT: Scotch. I use scotch. Yeah, that’s my favorite drink. I like that better than any.
REPORTER: So you’re saying I should drink more scotch in my life?
LOTT: Huh?
[nurse repeats question]
LOTT: You don’t like scotch, you don’t know what’s good.
