The Walking Dead (AMC, Sunday 9 p.m.) — The highest rated show in ALL OF TELEVISION has an unlikely romance brewing, if the body language in this clip is any indication. (SPOILER: It’s Rick and Michonne.)
The Masters of Sex (Showtime, Sunday 10 p.m.) — They’re chewing through real-life plot quickly, it seems. In reality, Masters and Johnson studied prostitutes for years before turning to other subjects; it appears from last week’s episode that the prostitute phase is already over after only three episodes. That’s too bad. They were fantastic.
Homeland (Showtime, Sunday 9 p.m.) — In this week’s episode, Dana will stare longingly at her naval for 45 minutes, then Carrie will cry.
College Football: USC vs. Notre Dame (NBC, Saturday 7:30) — This is the biggest regular season college football game of the year, if the year were 2012. This year? Eh.
White Queen (Stars, Saturday 9 p.m.) — First season finale. It’s on Starz, so it’s probably the series finale, too.
MLB Playoffs (Fox and TBS, All Weekend) — If the Cardinals win tonight’s game (8:30 on TBS), then the Red Sox will play Detroit in Game 6 tomorrow in primetime on Fox. If the Cardinals lose, then the Red Sox will play at 4:30 EST on TBS. Got it?
Sunday Night Football (NBC, Sunday 8:30) — Broncos vs. the Colts. This game makes me ill. As a lifelong Colts fan, I’m also by virtue of that, a Peyton Manning fan. Normally, I’d take the team over the player, but Jimy Irsay has been such a douche this week that I have to make an exception and root for Peyton and the Broncos. I’m pretty sure the Irsay exception is a real thing.
Boardwalk Empire (HBO, Sunday 9 p.m.) — Sunday’s episode is called “William Wilson,” which I presume is inspired by the Edgar Allen Poe short story, which suggests that Sunday night’s episode will deal with dopplegangers.
