Jimmy Fallon And Justin Timberlake Will Return To ‘SNL’ For This Year’s Christmas Episode

Saturday Night Live announced the list of hosts for December earlier today, and it is nothing if not a murderer’s row of talent. I’ll let this GIF explain.

With all due respect to Paul Rudd (who is a wonderful human who excels at comedy and dancing), and John Goodman (who has been a top-tier SNL host for so long that he once played Linda Tripp), the big story here is probably that Jimmy Fallon and Justin Timberlake are teaming up for the Christmas episode. The two have collaborated on things for years now, so it’s not really a surprise that the show would want to smush them together for the biggest episode of the year. What is kind of a surprise, however, is that Timberlake is billed as a musical guest, even though he’s pulled the host/musical guest double-up a number of times in the past.

But whatever. Not important. The important thing is that we’re about to get three proven, quality SNL hosts in a row without a headline-bait clunker thrown in the middle. It’s a Christmas miracle.
