The Monty Python Gang Is Getting Back Together For A Live Show

It’s been a good month for pop culture references. Last week, we all went a little something something when FXX announced that The Simpsons reruns will air on cable for the first time beginning next year, and today, not only is MST3K coming back for Thanksgiving, sort of, but the Monty Python troupe is putting on a stage show.

All of the surviving members of comedy group Monty Python are to reform for a stage show, one of the Pythons, Terry Jones, has confirmed.

“We’re getting together and putting on a show – it’s real,” Jones told the BBC.

“I’m quite excited about it. I hope it makes us a lot of money. I hope to be able to pay off my mortgage!” (Via)

Quick. Someone find Sid Caesar’s corpse for a Your Show of Shows reunion. Then we’ll have a real comedy party going. Wait. He’s not dead? Then whose prematurely-dug up body do I have…?
