Kanye West Returned To ‘South Park’ To Defend His Hobbit Of A Fiancée

It’s hard to parody Kanye West when he’s already such a parody of himself. But Matt Stone and Trey Parker can, obviously. On Sunday, a mask-wearing West booted a woman who kept screaming “take it off” out of his concert, telling her (and everyone), “Do I look like a motherf*cking comedian? Don’t f*cking heckle me. I’m Kanye motherf*cking West.” You sure are, and in Stone and Parker’s brilliant, quick-thinking minds, you’re engaged to a Hobbit.

That was half of the focus of last night’s fantastic South Park season finale, with West returning as a Gay Fish to set the record straight: Kim Kardashian is not a Hobbit. Keeping Up with the Kardashians may be about “short, loud people living in a fantasy world” and Kim does hang out with a wizard named Gandalf, but she is NOT a Hobbit. The other half of “The Hobbit” dealt with Wendy being such a jelly hater. She’s in full anti-Photoshop mode, claiming that it gives little girls false perceptions of what “real” woman look like, until West visits her in the middle of the night, to read her a story about a female Hobbit who “dreamed of being pretty like Beyoncé.” Then Photoshop came along, and “everything was good for the Hobbit” until this “mean little girl called the Jelly Monster” tried to ruin everything by taking away this “magic power.” The final shot of the episode is absolutely devastating: Wendy Photoshopping an image of herself, tears rolling down her face. It’s nearly as devastating as “You’re Getting Old.”

Oh yeah, and the “Bound 2” music video was mocked.

Soon after “Fishsticks” aired in 2009, West wrote on his blog, “South Park murdered me last night and it’s pretty damn funny. It hurts my feelings but what can you expect from South Park!” But that was four years ago, when he still possessed a sliver of self-awareness. Let’s see how he responds to attacks on His Precious.
