Key & Peele (Comedy Central, 10:30 p.m.) – Season finale. Key & Peele has really found its groove, and it’s at the point now that I’m honestly starting to feel bad for people who don’t watch it. I don’t even know what to tell you. Go spend an hour on the show’s YouTube page. That is your homework.
Mob City (TNT, 9:00 p.m.) – Conclusion. Last week I wrote that I didn’t think Mob City was all that bad. Six hours after that post went up, one character — not making this up — took out mob-related vengeance on another by shoving a green banana up his butt in a crowded warehouse. That’ll teach me a lesson about thinking things.
A Home for the Holidays with Celine Dion (CBS, 8:00 p.m.) – Celine Dion performs with Ne-Yo and shares uplifting stories about children adopted from foster care. I like to think this is a normal night at Celine Dion’s house.
Barbara Walters Presents the 10 Most Fascinating People of 2013 (ABC, 9:30 p.m.) – The dog from Dog With a Blog got SNUBBED. Sure, he’s not technically “people,” but neither are most of the other cretins who operate a blog. Can’t punish him for that.
Michael Buble’s 3rd Annual Christmas Special (NBC, 10:00 p.m.) – So this is on after tonight’s big Sing-Off event, which brings up an important point: Who the hell is staying up until 11:00 p.m. to watch a Michael Buble Christmas special? Isn’t most of his audience either (a) in bed by 9:30, or (b) watching something else in the 10:00 p.m. hour? I’m fascinated by this programming decision. I desperately want to meet the people who watch this live. I have so many questions for them.
The Daily Show With Jon Stewart (Comedy Central, 11:00 p.m.) – Bumped up to the listings proper because the whole cast of Anchorman 2 is on as guests.
Conan (TBS, 11:00 p.m.) – Bumped up to the listings proper because JENNIFER LAWRENCE AND BOB ODENKIRK HELLO.
LATE NIGHT GUESTS: Tim Robbins, Bill Simmons, and Jalen Rose on Kimmel; Ben Stiller on Letterman; Natasha Lyonne and Michael Connelly on Ferguson; Christina Applegate and Kevin Nealon on Leno; and Keanu Reeves on Colbert.
