Taylor Swift Fans Are Still Pissed At ‘Rude’ Amy Poehler And Tina Fey

Short of Dog with a Blog from Dog with a Blog and the cat from Inside Llewyn Davis, I can’t think of a better duo to host an award show, or be my best friends, than Amy Poehler and Tina Fey. In case their Golden Globes monologue didn’t convince you, here’s this: last year, Taylor Swift fans shrieked in angry unison when Fey DARED to throw shade at their idol. While doing a drunken bit with Poehler about Swift’s tendency to take a dump (and drive to the studio to record a song about her ex-boyfriend), Fey warned, “You know what, Taylor Swift? You stay away from Michael J Fox’s son.” To quote You’reNotSorry13, “Tina, why you gotta be so mean and a liar, and pathetic?”

Swift later commented on the burn, telling Vanity Fair, “You know, Katie Couric is one of my favorite people…because she said to me she had heard a quote that she loved that said, ‘There’s a special place in hell for women who don’t help other women.'” If those words sounds familiar, that’s because during last night’s Globes, after Poehler won for Best Actress in a TV Series, Comedy, Fey commented, “I just want to say congratulations again to my friend Amy Poehler, I love you and there’s a special place in hell for you.” Unleash the glittery hounds.

And because “petition or it didn’t happen” is the new “pics and it didn’t happen”:

At least they didn’t go for the easy Mean Girls joke?
