It hasn’t even been a full 24-hours since First Kiss went viral and took the Internet by storm. Sure we found out the entire thing was just an advertisement, but since then we’ve seen countless parodies ranging from the original ultra adorable First Sniff and the explicitly hilarious First Handjob.
Jimmy Fallon manages to take the viral events back around and copies the copy of the original with First Lick, and it honestly spoils us for choice in regards to cute animals playing together. I prefer First Sniff myself because it is nothing but dogs, but Fallon decided that cats were cute enough for their own video. It’s damn hard to hate either offering.
It just goes to show you how easy it is to copy ideas in this fast paced digital age. Or maybe we should spin this story another way and call Jimmy Fallon a thief. Blatantly copying an idea and throwing in cats to tug at the heart strings of the internet. He should be ashamed of himself!
Then I watch the video again and all those angry feelings melt away. This is the kind of stuff we need to be dropping out helicopters in war zones.
