‘The Simpsons’ Paid Tribute To David Letterman By Taking Their Couch Gag Inside The Ed Sullivan Theater

Ever since David Letterman announced his upcoming retirement on Thursday, television and the web have both been flooded with two kinds of reactions: speculation about who will take his place (John Oliver? Stephen Colbert?) and touching tributes (Seth Meyers, Keith Olbermann, and Jimmy Fallon quickly ripped off three of our favorites).
