The truly great image memes hit on a few key levels: the macro, the name, and several clever/identifiable punchlines. Now, I'm not prepared to call Sudden Clarity Clarence a great meme yet, but I think the potential is there. The image macro and the name are equally tremendous, the overall selection just needs some work.
The handful I've included here are solid -- the one above is the original Clarence as far as I can tell -- but I feel like we're just scratching the surface. We need focus people. More pop culture. More random hilarity. More pointing out the things that are right in front of us that we forget to notice. Reddit has already taken a long hard stab at him but they've done that thing Redditors do where they make everything Reddit-centric and ruin it for the rest of us, hence the call to action.
Conspiracy Keanu wonders if that's the same face Clarence will make when he realizes he's a meme.

While the “I could care less makes no f*cking sense,” is priceless, I happen to Goddamn LOVE dubstep… good dubstep that is. And before someone whips out the old *oxymoron* chestnut, yes… there IS a difference. Eat shit, Clarence #1.

These aren’t very good. I think the image has promise, but it is too location specific, hence the dubstep one working the best. This meme will never fulfill to the heart’s content. *Dubstep is frequently terrible.
