
"What People Think I Do / What I Really Do" started on February 2nd of this year when Garnet Hertz posted the image above to summarize the stereotypes about his career as a contemporary artist. Others followed suit with similar image macros about the generalizations and dull reality of their own jobs, hobbies, and groups. We learned a lot from this series. For example, we learned there are several self-described graphic designers and artists who make hideously-designed versions of this meme. (We've left their incompetent work out of the gallery below.) It's also fitting that producers and strip club disc jockeys both herd cats for a living.
But, most importantly, we learned what Bill Cosby thinks he does, and you can to once you've viewed the slideshow. All pictures via Know Your Meme unless otherwise noted.
