I’ll admit that I once watched (and was helped by) a YouTube “How to” video on how to tie a tie, because my daddy doesn’t love me. Or maybe it’s because I was too lazy to learn. One of the two. Anyway, most instructional web videos and EVERYTHING on eHow is awful, which is why I got a kick out of How to Basic, a new YouTube channel that teaches you how to make an egg salad sandwich or add milk to your coffee – errr, teaches you to FAIL, that is. The guy uploading the videos was clearly inspired by The Muppet Show because pretty much every one ends with something exploding or being smashed.

It’s dumb, sure, but like my unloving daddy once said, “Crushing eggs with a fist will always be funny.”
