According to Wikipedia, “Nguyen” is the most common Vietnamese last name — it’s their Smith (although with a more disturbing history). Presumably fed up with answering questions about whether they’re related, eight lady Nguyens who go to school together did something brilliant with their senior year yearbook quote. Take a look at what it is below, but needless to say, it’s better than, “Live. Love. Laugh.”

“We know…what…you’re…thinking…and…no…we’re…not related.”

Heh. Nice.
It was a VERY common name at my high school, where Vietnamese and Korean students were more common than any other race except caucasian.
You must be from orange county.

That wasn’t what I was thinking … what, nobody else was envisioning “Ate Is Enough”?

Duh… Nguyening!
Nguyen has a more disturbing history than Smith, huh? Who knows how many people have the last name Smith thanks to imperialism and enslavement.
Didn’t read the link on the history now did we?
It’s not pronounced “Noo-yin”? really?
