Overall, I like Lord of the Rings. However, I do feel that Tolkien kind of rips off Harry Potter in many ways. There are several parallels, such as elves, dwarfs, wizards, goblins, trolls, magic (especially invisibility), etc. Sauron is referred to as “Dark Lord” just like Voldemort is. There is also the elder white-haired bearded wizard who serves almost as a mentor, Gandalf, who is reminiscent of Dumbledore.

Tolkien TOTALLY ripped off J.K. Rowling — I mean, he even took the first letter of her first name. Total plagiarist. Some of the character names are similar, such as Wormtongue as opposed to Wormtail, too. There is even a gigantic spider (Shelob) at the end of “The Two Towers” that reminds one of Aragog from Chamber of Secrets. I even noticed that the plots of both series begin with the protagonists’ birthday. Now I see that Tolkien, this unoriginal bastard, is coming out with The Hobbit in December. This would be fine, but why didn’t he just write this book first to begin with? I still like Lord of the Rings, though–don’t get me wrong–but I wonder if Tolkien has ever said in interviews whether he borrowed elements from Harry Potter. I’ll be watching the extended DVDs later this week and I think he’s featured on the commentary track, so I look forward to that.

He earns a “T” for troll! I’m not sure if he is a troll, though…I teach high school English and I am amazed every year at the degeneration of intelligence this current generation posesses. With not checking facts, or just plagiarizing outright, these kids are heading for a whole world of hurt in the “real” world. He could just be into movies and never took the time to read any of the books…let alone take two seconds to look at the publishing dates!

Lol J. R. R. Tolken died in 1971 at the age of 82. J. K. Rowling was a little kid at that time She didn’t write Potter till years later, and Lord of the Rings was published in the 1950′s. It was based on Tolkens experiences in WW1. Its more likely that J. K. Rowling took some of Her ideas from Tolken.

What I am about to say is true about Turabian Games.

Who are now helping other people start there own businesses.

Now we go back 8 mounts from today.
A friend of mine called me on the phone and said he found a cool game.
After going to the web sight And downloading the D&D game I
agreed it was a good game.
So I bought the intire game at that time.
It coast a little over 1,000 dollars.
The only problem I had was I fall off cliffs and stuff.
Meaning I was braking parties up and weakening them.
I found that it could no be soloed.
That brought me to Lord of the rings.
I thought it was a good game.
Then I begin to see things like buying pork when your out killing pigs.
Making leather raps when you have leather crafters
Then I realised every item in the game you find can not be use
because they are 4 levels below what they say making them worth only
the sealing price.
I am a VIP and have bought into the game as well.
Tried asking Turabain to fix it.
Instead of trying to fix the game they want to add to it.
Three days ago I went back to D&D found that the game had tossed my
toons out o my gild The Mad Hats I bought with my own money so I went
tech support and ask them to fix it.
When they did not respond to it I called 718-407-4020 and ask them why
the tech support was not helping fix the problem.
The answer shocked me.
